I'm just trying to get an idea of where to start with my duct taping and what not. The sunfire door panels dont seem to have much of a flat mounting surface for flush mounting the tweeters. Looking like its gonna take the surface mount? Any got any suggestions are where to start and/or pictures of your setups?
I installed my focals flush in the plastic piece in front of the windshield,And then moved them slightly towards one another to get a better imaging,But depending on you tweeters and on your cross over point that location could be a bit to bright..but try it anyways..
mine are mounted int eh stock location. as it turns out .75" JL Audio tweeters fit perfectly in there with epoxy
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
in our 04 project fire they habe them in the door panels with the mids factory flushed. Ive seen them in the mirror triangles (got those) ill try find pics.
i cut out two holes right next to my sunroof button looks different but they sound great i also used the jl's to replace the stocks like guy said before.
id put them in right where your dash meets your towers.just personal opinion but i didnt even screw with putting tweeters in my car rockford fosgate door speakers did it for me.
if you have not installed components, or any type of aftermarket tweeters, and have no experience on how to, where to, or the best sounding place to mount them, why would you even speak up in a thread like this, kyle?>
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

this thread
I am having problems with where to located mine as well. I have a set of diamond audio d661's and the speaker is too deep for my door, or seems to be anyways, and the tweeters are too big to put where the ones now are.
