Looking at purchasing a new box, need a professional opinion.

I found a 2 12" bassworx ported sub box for $40 each 12" has it's own chamber. (not shared) but there is a crack on the left side of the box in the mdf.
Would it be fixable and worth buying?
right now my 2 12" type Rs are in a sealed box sharing the full chamber. I'll be hooking up a bassworx 500.1d amp to them at 1 ohm.

With all the other projects I have on the go, I don't have time to build a box or else that would have been thought of and probably done already. Don't really have the workspace or the tools readily available to do it either. Thanks for pointing out it was too tall, would have been pissed if I bought it and found out the hard way that it wouldn't fit.

you could probly have a shop build you a box for around 100$ but i would look into q-logic for pre built boxes

Q logic boxes are too small and sound like ass. The box you got there is tuned waaaaaaaay too high, and without port and sub displacement you're looking at 2.1 cubes per side.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll just stick with what I got now. I could have picked that box up cheap, only reason why I was asking if it was any good.

could you explain to me why you think 38hz is tuned too high??? If that's too high, what would suggest that it be tuned to?
