few questions for theftlock here

my theftlock light is solidly on all the time what does this mean?
my radio has no front lcd anymore and i cant see what it says but it does turn on and my aftermarket headunit works too. if theftlock was enabled wouldnt the stereo not work?
the problem i have is we just went through swapping engines and everything on the inside works, headlights and all. although when i go to start the car the starter does not engage.
does theftlock have any say over what happens with the starter or no?

any help would be highly appreciated

It should not have anything to do with the starter, if you changed the ECM though you will have to relearn the passlock theft system which you can do yourself without the help of a dealer. just take a careful look around im sure its just a wire with the starter. When i swapped the bcm in mine i had to relearn it and before that i could still crank.
