I am looking for a new amp to power my door speakers. Right now I have Pioneer 4x6's in the doors, but I have Diamond Audio d661's waiting to be installed. the speakers right now are being powered by a amp that belongs to my brother. it is a 4 channel Alpine
Clicky. Well he wants it back so time to find my own...any help would be appreciated.
alpine is a great company. if you were satisfied with them then i would stick with them. but get a newer one.

If you are going to want more power as cheap as possible while sticking to reliable brands for your new, much better components, I would definitely look into a good 2 channel amp with at least 200 watts per channel on tap. Alpine isn't a bad brand to stick to. Also, depending on your budget look into brands like Audison, Elemental Designs, Cadence(their ZRS line), Kicker and RF are a couple of the "big name" brands that still make pretty damn good amps too, JL Audio slash amps will always be damn good, Phoenix Gold Xenon amps are decent, and even soundstream has some good amps for very decent prices. Just figure out what you can afford, what kind of power you want or need, and find something with a reputable name to back it's quality.

my budget is 300 tops, and i dont care if its new or used.
$300 can get you a decent amp dude. Look into some brands like the ones I listed, look for a 2 channel putting out AT LEAST 150 watts at 4 ohms per channel, but as much clean power as you can afford to play with.

11X18.8 isn't too huge I don't think.
