How would I be able to hook up a 360 inside my '03 Cav? I have an aftertermarket deck a
Panasonic CQ-VW100U
Power inverter wired to a 12v source and grounded. RCAs into the screen.
Where would you put it? Not exactly a small console.
youd be better off putting in a ps2 slim in, its not as great as the 360 ya, but way easier to put somewhere
There really isnt a big advantage in putting a gen 3 vs gen 2 system. You wont see the difference in graphics that much on a small screen and the online isnt really doable in a car easily. Im toying with the idea of putting my slim line in my car cause its just collecting dust on my shelf now.
is online even possible in a car at all?
with satellite, but that probably wouldn't look to good on a cavalier haha
Well if you were to get wireless internet to a laptop and routed the 360 through that. or just bypass the laptop either way it would probably be less than fast.
Put a regular xbox in it. With 150 bucks and some time you can buy a use xbox, chip it, make a custom glove box set up, and put as many roms on it as your hdd will hold. You can get hdds off newegg for really cheap now too. Not to mention movies and regular xbox games without a dvd drive.
Well I have a 360 that I don't use, which is why I thought of it. Never thought of putting it in the glove box though...that's a good idea!
if your going to fit it anywhere inside you car easily thatd be where you want it
regular xbox dont fit in the glove box.. tried it.

you never want to move a 360 while it is running, i'd only run it if i were parked or just showing it off. Otherwise it is pointless.
I opted for the older ps2 for my build due to the fact the slims have a top loading tray. I almost went with the 360 but as stated above they have problems with playing while moving and "heat issues".

I still dont think a 360 will fit in the glovebox. Just eyeballing it with my Fire. Unless Cavis are different........

There will be some Sawzall, dremel cutting needed. For it not to look like total junk fiberglass will be needed as well, it will be a custom project. Hell if you have the few hundred dollars to throw an xbox in what is a few dollars in fiberglass right?
