Ok, so i've decked my car in a roughly 3000w MTX system, got underglow, redid my gauge backlights and HVAC backlights, etc etc, to red. Now, my question becomes this... where in gods name can i find a good quality deck thats lit red?! They seem non existent.
If they actually dont exist, how feasable is it to strip apart my panasonic and throw some red leds in there instead of blue :p
alpine ida-x100...you can switch it between red and blue

I think ALL of alpine's current decks can be full on red (aside from their red/blue default)
My friend has one in his Civic that is changeable between red blue green etc but I cant for the life of me remember what it is.
new alpines dont change all those colours only red and blue but they dont change the whole face colour just parts of them
Its not an Alpine. Its some brand I havent heard of before. Porbably why its escaping me.
Clarion decks do probably 50 colors
I talked to my friend. Its a Jensen. But ya Alpine would probably be better.
oh and btw my D3 is all red ...buttons background theme...w/e its all red....lol
It is a very nice high end deck actually. I put the laughing face because it was probably out of his budget just to get red lighting, but it is NOT a deck to be laughed at, guy. Sound quality wise, I don't think your D3 holds a candle to it. Be careful what you knock without knowing what it actually is.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

wow, i want that sunfire cluster swap. i wanted the same thing, all red inside but ended up going with a Kenwood KDC 635, not completely red but i think it's nice. sorry for poor pic. quality.
I have an alpine CDA-9847 currently installed in my fire. Sound quality is the same as a more expensive alpine, but it's just pretty simple as far as looks go... I like it because you can switch between Red, Amber, Blue, and Green. Mine stays on red usually...

How about a more expensive "CURRENT" Alpine. F#1 status excluded.
Happy?
honestly im not erally concerned with price, i mean, i dont want a ridiculously expensive deck, but i have a 3000w mtx system in my car, i need something decent

i just wished they spend a few bucks and hire a guy that could make the deck look like its at least from the 90's they have always had that 1980's look and i hate it.

hahaha I hear ya... But then again, I think the black Dennon DCT-1 is sexy as hell, so my Idea of a good looking deck seems to be quite far from the normal. I love simplicity. I just want it to do it's job, sound amazing, have simple menu's and not look flashy. I am making a bold move going to something with a bigger display like the 7949, but the deal I got on it, and the sound quality is all worth it
