Ok guys. i have Viper 1002 Alarm and where i have it placed it does not pick up the shocks to the vehicle. so. to remedy that i bought a DEI 504D Shock sensor that i can place wherever i feel. BUT. i do not know how to hook it up. the harness for the shock sensor has 2 ends. 1 obviously plugs in to the shock sensor and the other plugs in to the alarm. Now. there are 4 wires in the harness. Red. Black, blue, and green. the green wire in the harness is not hooked to anything on one end and on the Other end it is looped back to the Blue. wire. now its my understanding that the green wire is the "warn away" wire. so would i disconnect it from the blue wire and hook it up to the green wire or???? im confused.
you dont have to hook that wire up....but i would say put the shock sensor on a harness that way you get teh best protection
the looped end goes on the sensor
oh and like illdwes said, the loose green wire (the one that will be coming FROM the brain) just gets taped up, it's used for additional sensors IIRC.
awsome. thats what i wanted to know. thanks alot.
