How do you make a in-dash DVD player work while not having the stupid parking break on?

For anyone with the same problem, just connect the stupid wire that is supposed to go to the parking break *WTF stupid safety feature* to the black ground wire and your @!#$ should work. I hear it's different with Alpines though!

Correction: Brake not break.

And youll most likely get a ticket if you get pulled over with that out.

ground the parking brake wire on the back of the unit. problem solved...

I remember reading a post answering this question before. So its not like its not there.
