I painted my tails again yesterday, and drove around for a few hours with the blinkers all fine, then all of a sudden the right side started blinking twice as fast. After inspecting it today I found out that:
~every bulb works
~everything works when the hazards are on, except the passenger rear light, which just stays on and doesn't blink. All the others blink at the same pace though
~when the right turn signal is on everything blinks twice as fast, but the rear doesn't it just stays off
I think that's all of it. Anyone know whats up? If I can't figure this out in an hour I'm just going to rerun the blinker wire from the front to the rear and splice into the front.
umm. replace the bulb. swap bulbs from left to right and see if it changes. even if a bulb doesnt look bad doesnt mean it isnt
I couldn't get the bulb out on the other side without removing the tail and I was being lazy so I didn't bother to switch them. But after you said that I went and took the tail off and swapped bulbs and its a bad bulb.
Good call
fake Wojo.. thanks
still havent figured mine out , almost same as yours, put new bulbs in and everything, rear passenger side still no blinker or brake
Run two wires down the side of your car from the tail light and splice into the ones for the headlight. I'm not sure which color is blinker and which is the brake but It would probably be the same colors in the front.
Before you try this, cut your ground like a foot before the connector, and try to ground it to a metal bolt or something. That might be your problem.
