Are sony xplod, MBQuart, and or audiobahn amps good for just highs...im not looking to run any major power to them just a little more than the eclipse deck i have is pushing
You say "just highs" but your highs are where you are going to have any kind of audible difference between a cheap ass amp or a good one. I wouldn't put it past MB Quart to make a good amp, but I would definitely stray away from the other two.
What is your budget and what speakers are you powering?

eclipse 4 way 6x9s and rockford 6.5 components with 4 1.5 inch tweets...i know mbquart used to be good just never heard anything about their amps....also i know rockfords make good amps and i have always used them...i currently have a rockford punch 250 and old school one on my 12 inch eclipse and it pushes it pretty good the sub is capable of 400 watts...i jsut want a little bass nothing major so thats y im stickin with the sub and amp setup i have...id like more highs
There are multiple amps that are good , just depends on the budget for them.
Mb Quart is a good amp out of those tho. Stay away from the sony and Audiobahn as mentioned. Even tho they can work, they won't sound nearly as good as others. Also there power is on the overrated side.
i agree with the audiobahn crap, but i have been running the a2300hct for 2 years now no problem, and sounds excellent, there hct line was really nice.
the more i think about it the more i think im just gonna stick with a rockford honestly...i was just looking to spend a little less was all and needed opinions on them
im a fan of alpines amps. there just a cheaper alternative. not sure how good they do on the highs tho......

WHYYYYY do you have 4 inch and a half tweeters?!?!?!? And how do you plan to power 2 coaxials, a component set, and 4 tweeters off one amp? Do you know anything about wiring or ohm's loads??

I had them wired off one amp before and never had a problem. the component set came with 4 tweets and 2 6.5s. i had a punch 45 on them and old one....and like i said i never had a problem..im not looking for competition quality just a clearer more crisp sound....im too old for that loud music that makes your ears bleed
