I have a couple of unrelated questions about my GM car stereos: 1. On the 2004 Cavalier stock cd player while listening to a cd I can't figure out how to advance to the next song...surely you don't have to listen to the whole cd if you don't like some of the songs on it.
2. I installed aftermarket cds in two of my GM cars and using the SCOSCHE install kits the radio doesn't sit flush with the dashboard, they jut out about 3/4 of an inch. Other than that they work fine. Did I get the wrong kit for my car and truck or is that the way they're supposed to look. My 96 Cavalier that I bought used had a Kenwood CD player in it and it didn't stick out.
1. Have you tried the seek button?? There aren't exactly alot of buttons to get confused about...
My Scoshe kit doenst sit flush. I just deal with it.
^^ Ding Ding its Previous and Next to change the songs.
hide the wires better in the back, or take out a little material behind the radio. in my '00 it didn't fit at first, but I tucked wires and hacked some of the plastic behind it. fits perfect
