Is in the mail on the way to my house
Ended up going with 1 1232D which I will be pushing 1500W RMS to in a ported box at 35HZ.
Gonna buy a brand spankin new Hifonics TXi1508D to replace my old TXi1505D which I still love to this day, unless someone can recommend a more cost efficient amp to push this sub.
I'm looking to stay under $400 for the new setup:
Lanzar Optidrive 1232D- $149 shipped
Hifonics Titan TXi1508D- $189 shipped
15ft 0AWG power wire- $35 from a local welding shop
that amp wont do 1500 rms, im going to say 1150 at the most
Hifoncs amps are low in price, but definitely over rated and very power hungry.

I can't wait to see the post where you're wanging.
Well, all I know is that my 05 hifonics pushes my 15's plenty hard, and I haven't had any problems with it. Suggest a better one?
I can't wait for that post either lanman
Sub should be here by next wed, box will be built by then, and I'll be ready to move some air
Corrrect me if I'm wrong, aren't Crunch and Hifonics the same line?
My cousin has a Lanzar amp he offered to me the other night. Im not sure what it is. Ill have to check it out and let you know.
Soundstream and Cadence some to mind when you ask about affordable amps that put out rated power and keep cool doing it.

They are the same company. The Groundpounder will put out a little more power than the Hifonics.
Ok well, my order got "lost" apparently... not so impressed with onlinecarstereo.com so far
But the sub is now confirmed shipped shipped shipped. I'm gonna be powering it with my Hifonics Txi for now, but I am in the market for a new amp. Or new to me I should say, I'm open to used.
Lanzar is missing some of the specs that winisd is asking for to plug in to my calculator. I hope this box is gonna be right! Anyone feel like plugging this in for me
?
Box needs to be 10 inches deep, pretty much any height, and no wider than 45 inches. Ported at 34 HZ.

You should buy one of those HK401sx's off of me.
I'll work on a box for you in a bit.
I'd love to! But I gotta move my hifonics first. The Kid that bought my subs wants to give me $150 for it when he gets paid in two weeks. I'd have to talk to you then.
And Thanks you vurrry much sir!
I heavily suggest NOT ordering from onlinecarstereo.com. LOTS of bad reviews and bad experiences with that place all over the audio forums.

I bought my Alpine amp from them and was pleased with the experience. Maybe I just got lucky though...
I didn't say ALL their transactions were bad, just a ton of them posted up on the audio forums.

Go 10 deep, 15 tall, 31.5 wide, with a crap. That depth is going to kill you for 2 reasons. One, the sub sits pretty deep. Two, you'd need a 42 inch long 2 inch wide slot which won't fit, or a 14 inch long 4 inch diameter flared port. I'd go flared with an elbow in it.
