Does and 2000+ Sunfire have a double din?

Hey guys, I am going to rip an interior for my 99 this week but I really want a double din tv deck, so heres the question.

Do 2000+ sunfires have room for a double din tv monitor, and will it fit over a 99 center console?

I will be removing the the entire lower dash if they do let me know thanks!

Ive checked crutchfield.com and put in a 2000 sunfire and it shows double din, I know the opening is bigger than the pre 2000 models. I know the metal frame under the dash is different from a 99-2000 but with that it will fit. I am not sure about the console but the 2000+ console will fit yours too if you keep the metal bracket that hold it onto the floor of the car, plus youll have lighted prndl indicators if you have an auto and a lighter socket on the side.
The only thing I couldnt say for sure is the dimmer switch the the instrumentation lighting but that should be easy to over come.

Hell get a flip out. The screen will be bigger than the double-din DVD.

Yes, it is 2 din... I have to do the same thing (get a full lower dash... ghey) so I can run an HU and a VGA flipout... the 99 console may work, but I'd go with a 00+ instead
