i was thinking of changing out my system...currently have 4 punch 15's, 2 autotek amps on those and 1 for components(already have bostons for those)...thinking of going all Boston for a new set up, heres what i'm lookin at
2 boston G512-44 12's with a GT22 on each sub, this amp is rated 400x1 rms at 2 ohms with 12.6 dc
1 boston GT-42 4ch multi channel at 2 ohms rated 4x120...1 question i have is will this amp push 2 sets of 6.5 and 2 sets of 5.25 total 8 speakers

I don't understand a couple things...
Are you asking if your 4 channel amp will properly push 8 speakers? Sure, what is the impedance and power handling of each? More importantly why are you trying to just cram that many speakers into your car?
I don't have a ton of personal experience with much Boston stuff, but over all they make decent stuff.
Everything else that I THINK you are asking I will leave for other people because I am annoying myself trying to understand your post...

My store doesn't sell Boston, but from time to time customers do bring some in to have it installed, and I've always been happy with the sound.
Boston makes some tasty SQ gear.
the reason i want to put 8 speakers for mids and highs is a good overall sound and i have them already, but the 5.25's are still in the box waiting for install...i checked the specs on the 5.25's they are 4ohm rated 12-140 watts, the 6.5's are same series so i assume probably same rating, could be wrong on ohms since i dont have the boxes for them...reason i want to change my system is to scale down size wise but more custom install, the 4 15's are in a mdf enclosure with a lil glass work around the subs, it sits in the backseat area and is about 7 cubes..the boston subs would be 2 12's and require 1 cube sealed or 2 cubes ported each, so i'm thinking keeping it in the backseat area but a nice custom glass enclosure with amp rack

You mean 4 sets of components. So theres 8 total speakers. Yes a 4 channel will push four sets of components.
Channel one to crossover. 1 crossover channel to tweeter. 1 crossover channel to mid woofer. Repeat for the other 3 channels.

4 sets... 1 set=2 mid drivers.
So basically is he wires in parallel from the amp to the crossovers, he will see a 2ohm impedance at the amp for 60w per mid driver.
So basically each door with have 4 tweets and 4 mid drivers...
Right?
these are the newest model for the 5.25's i have the same from a couple a years ago, the 6.5's are also the same series..also i'm planning to put the 6.5's in the doors and the 5.25's somewhere else, would love to build a dash and put them up there

Those aren't components, they are coaxials.
