Throw the cap as far as you can, put the amp on the back of your box/seat kthanx.

I didnt like the seat mount. And make sure you throw the cap as far as possible into a large body of water.

Mines just mounted on the back of the box.

I'd like to know as well. Got some amps that run a lil warm and want to design an amp rack I can cool with 120mm fans for PC's. Prolly have 8 fans in a push pull config.

Later tonight I'll try to get an idea together.

Alright i have my rack built.

Would it be safe for me to wire 2 fans, and a strip of 8 Leds, with all the pos(+) Wired together with 18awg wiring, with a 10amp fuse ran off the Remote+ wire, and the Neg(-) to the Ground wire on the amp?

If you run a relay in line you should be fine. If you dont youll slowly burn up you remote on your head unit.

Like so.

I feel like an idiot asking this but what exactly is a relay?

Also, I'm going to be running a 1200 watt amp and a 300W . So is using 2 remote wires bad?

What about running a 18Awg wire from the Battery, To a switch in the dash, to the Extra accessories?

You can run the two amps. But the constant pull of the accessories on the remote circuit is bad for it.

You could do that but dont even have to go to the battery. You could just tap a wire from somewhere in the interior.
