I have a supercharged '04 Cavalier that I need to tune, unfortunately I already had the GM recalibration done, which means the PCM is locked, which means I need to change out the PCM with a used one. Does the radio VIN number need to match the BCM VIN only, or also/only the PCM? I've got a Tech-2 at work, so if it's just one or the other it's not a problem and I can reprogram it (I assume, I've never had to do it before). I'm just worried that it may need to match both (which will never happen), and I really want to keep the chime! lol Seriously tho, I've dumped way too much money into this car already, and now I'm buying HPT pro and a wideband O2 sensor. I'm starting to think I should have left the damn thing stock
Thanks,
Jason

The radio only has to match the bcm only, I had to reflash my pcm when I installed a/c and radio still worked, then realized the bcm had to be replaced also and this was what locked the radio. Also they both had different vin numbers so matching the bcm/pcm is not an issue, Just have to do a security relearn and thats it.
