how much dynamat to use

Im gonna put some kind of sound deadner such as dynamat fatmat etc.... in my 04 cav....i want to do the whole floor board, trunk and rear deck with it. should 50 sq ft of it work to do all of that or should i get 75....i know i should go measure and calculate it out but if someone has already done this please let me know thanks. also how much quieter is the road noise and is the loudness and clarity of my system noticible

I was told 100sq ft. 150 if you really go crazy and do the fire wall and roof and stuff.


Personally, I'm deadening the trunk and door panels and using foam behind interior pieces to stop the rattling.

theres this stuff i was looking at called boom mat, and all it is, is basically a spray on sound deadener, seems nice and for only 10-20 bux a can you can't beat it.
