are the door locks in our cars positive or negitave switching i got a gm alarm vsl 4000 for free its brand new and need some info on how to wire up the doors
and trunk release please ?
trunk release is + after the BCM. i you have the switch mounted in the dash its - before it goes into the BCM.
if you are going to tap into it after the bcm its pin A5 on the purple plug at the bcm .
and this is what i have for door locks............
NOTE *1 WITHOUT FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, TYPE C Door Locking System, the PASSENGER switch is the MASTER SWITCH. WITH FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY, TYPE A Door Locking System.
