Clarion Changer Alpine Head

So i have an alpine ixa-w404 head unit. It only plays music and video through the ipod and radio and today i found a clarion 6 disc changer (not sure on the model) laying around that i forgot i had. I dont NEED to use it but if i can why not? So is this possible? Im pretty sure the female plugs on the changer and head are different but not sure. Anyone?

Maybe we should have thought about this before we bought the head unit eh cupcake?

The thing that sucks about those media-only units... is well... they are media only. You don't have the option t play a CD if you want. HOWEVER if it is an AiNet compatible unit, you can get an Alpine CD changer and use the head unit to control it. Your Clarion changer is not compatible with the Alpine head unit.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.
