best battery

all right now that i got my Alternator and My wire now i need a battery (or two). so tell me what you think is the best. im leaning towards to yellow tops but idk what to get. i talked to a kenetic dealer to day and he said that i could get a 1800 up front and a 1400 in the back and it will be all god. but that would cost like 800$ so im not sure if thats in the budget right now. just tel me what you guys would do. i would like to keep it under 500$ for just batteries. (still seems a bit high)

Future plan is:

(2) 12" Fi BTL
(2) Audio Que 2200
half walled in the back in sepperate enclosures with the port coming out the middle. Technically still in the trunk so its not going to take away the back seat. oh and tuned to 34 hz.

and later down the road ill upgrade to 2 AQ3500 (most likely)

so with around 4400 watts rms what will i need for a battery. i already have a 200 amp alternator and i can get 40 feet of 2/0 wire whenever i want. what else should i get?

Thanks for your help,

Anton Miller

one of them or 2. one under the hood and other in trunk.

or go with the 1400 and 1800. you could get both for under $500 from ebay.

I like my Yellow Top I can wang all day without killing my battery. Honestly I would get a good battery in the back and leave what you have in the front. Just isolate the rear and run your system off of the rear. Itll save some money.

Let me give you my advice. Everstart Maxx up front, then a Powermaster d3100 in the rear.

Look out I'm threadjacking.

Lets say a bro wanted to put a deep cycle in his car for the obvious benefits.
Now, let's say this bro also wants to put a powercell up in that for it's benefits as well too also.

What would be the best route for this, since they clearly wouldn't charge evenly. Dual alternators?

This is assuming the deep cycle was going to be isolated to the amps, but still needs to be charged.

They will charge equally. Believe it or not, you can run a wet cell and a agm or sla together.

The same setup is working for me. I have minimal dimming burping 50 hz.

But how is the voltage at your amp.

What your headlights do has next to nothing to do with your amp.
