Its in Fort Wayne at CN Sounds. Any advice you children have for me? I havent had it SPL tested or anything yet so Im kinda just flying by the seat of my pants. Just from looking Id be in the Street Stock Division I think. I have 1 15 and I am under 2k watts.
Whats a multi point event? I cant find any clarification. The one on Sat is not multi point but the one on Sunday is multipoint. Im just confused.
Multipoint is probably db testing in multiple points. Thats what I would assume

allot of orginasations require you to get X amount of points to qualify for the world finals. 1st place may give you 15 points and you may need say 200 points to quality for finals. a multi point or doublle points event would give you 30 points for 1st. im assuming this is what they are referring to.
if this is your first event and you dont have any access to an rta or any tuning equipment theres not to much i can offer. i'd just try and get as many runs as you can. try and find the best freuqncy for your car. unplug or disconnect your amp to your highs so you dont blow them during testing.

Dont Js peak at like 48 hz? Im burping 50 hz now as a test and it seems to do a pretty good job. I would like to get some test runs in with a meter but I cant get any access to one.

are you talking about resonant frequency?
my car peaked at 41-42 hz and i was tuned to 34. ive been told its usally about 7hz higher than your tuning in j's which is exactly what mine was

Yessir Termlab. Do you think Id be proud of that on an AC mic?
I got there early so the judge helped me set up my car and tune my stuff in. He said I was peaking around 41 hz. I hit 140 dB even on a test tone and I hit 139.7 on Trap or Die by Young Jeezy. I think Im going to try and make it to some more events.
if you were in street stock you could only use music, and have a stamped steel basket, good start for street stock! oh and multi points is only useful to you if you register with db drag
It think I couldve done better if I would have had a chance to pic a better song. I must have missed in the rules where it said music only. But oh well, Im happy with it.
also if you shut ur vents, move both seats up as far as u can, and rev to 2k, u will gain a few.

I was revved to 2k and the seat leaning didnt gain anything but propping the rear seatt gained me abot .5 db. The lead judge spent like 20 minutes teaching me these things.

He means that it wasn't fully latched against the back.
He had me lean the seat up to the level of the headrest and lean the drivers seat against it to hold it up so the waves flowed over the front seats instead of getting piled up behind them.
How spunky do you feel, try a box port and sub back.
