Sub and Amp Question

So my parents bought me a amp and 6x9s for christmas and was wondering if one of my brothers JL 10" subs would work? This is the amp http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0926INGFS10098199&catid=20104&logon=&langid=EN i have the Alpine 6x9s but dont have them installed them yet. Will i have to bridge the amp? Thanks

that does me no good. I could show you a picture of a squid, say something looks like a squid, and is an alligator. Check on the back, get your meter out and measure some coils for me.
