Okay so, I've been noticing this for a while now, but always thought I was imagining things since I use my high beams while driving through my girlfriends neighborhood at night, and just thought that I'd forgotten to turn them off when I shut the car off, but tonight I confirmed it. I stopped at a gas station on the way to the g/f's house and when I got back out to the car, I started it up, and when I turned the headlights on, the high beams were on and I know for a FACT they weren't on when I shut the car off.
So, why the hell are they coming on when I start my car? Is this a headlight switch issue or an ignition switch issue? Help!

Try it, screw around with turning the ignition on and off a bunch of times. Then screw with the high beams and turn the ignition on. Troubleshoot young man!
