I'm working on a 4-way system: tweeter, mid, midbass and sub, and I'll be using all three outputs of my deck.
The deck has time alignment, but only for three stages of sound, so I'm looking for a standalone module I can plug in line with my RCAs to adjust the phase of my subs.
Can anyone drop a model number for me?
Cant help you there but post up some pics and such when you get this finished.
Will do. I'm doing a complete ripdown of my trunk setup and I'll be doing some crazy stuff in the next month or two.
By the way, if anyone knows of any parts, I'm looking for one that can do a full sweep from 0º to 180º and not just a flip-switch.
Some sub amps have phase on them. If you're running active, I'd go that route.
I'll be running two pdx1.1000s, they have straight 0/180 but I'd like to have more adjustability.
I could probably go with JL HD amps, but I get a pretty sweet hookup with Alpine so I'm inclined to go that route.
My amp has a 0 to 180 sweep.
la-dee-da
Not looking for an amp with sweep. Looking for a ........ sweeper?
My question is why? Our subs are no more than say 15 feet from our main stage.
'Cause for the first time I'm building a system where I can afford to tweak it.
My question is, why not
not entirely sure, but I thought the PG Bass Cube and/or AC Epicenter both had fully adjustable phase pots.
I don't have time to check, but look into those to see if they do. would give you alot more tweakability for the low end
