Its a 98' Z24
I've followed the steps in the FAQ on it, the doors and trunk cycle through the un/lock but nothing happens after I hold the un/lock buttons on the remote.
The remote works fine on the 96' Sunfire it came from.

Hold 'em for like... 10 seconds. If nothing happens, then the batteries are probably dead in the remote.
I held them down for a good 30secs or more and nothing.
Tried it on the other car, and it works fine.
Does anyone have a trick to the plug? I used a screwdriver

I use a bent paper clip... as long as you're making the connection, who cares what you use.
Does the car do the lock-unlock thing after you short out the plug?
