Alright, so this problem started about 2 weeks ago with no previous symptoms and it's bugging the hell out of me.
At first i thought i hadn't grounded my battery well enough (moved it to the trunk in august and have had no problems untill 2 weeks ago) and added 2 chassis grounds and 2 engine grounds but that didn't fix the problem.
I also put in TTR tranny mounts (5 speed) and a TTR lower dogbone mount which makes the car vibrate a bit more.
I'm wondering if it's possible that the extra vibrations are causing some wires to short out by touching?
So everything that happens is my Driving lights will shut off, the service light will come on in the cluster, and my doors will lock themselves, and if i try to use my wipers they move incredibly slow accross the windshield and sometimes stop half way.
After i turn the speed for the wipers and @!#$ around with the light switch and stuff, everything goes back to normal and my driving lights work perfectly as well as the wipers and door locks. It's almost like my car has a stroke
Has anyone else ever had this problem? I've searched all forums and have come up with nothing.
Thanks in advance for any help!
its your lights turn on switch. (cant think of the name maybe relay?) but it happened to my friend and he replaced it and the lights work now.

But how would that mess with my door locks and wiper speeds?
Anyone else? I'm scared @!#$less i'm going to hit a deer driving at night, and since this is currently my DD i kinda need the car lol.
That sounds like a loose ground or positive somewhere.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
its gotta be somthing in the steering column. not sure what tho.... maybe try a local mechanic?

it's your 2000+ car right? Sounds like your bcm is freaking out. Probably a loose connection somewhere.

Yes, it's an 01 GT 5speed.
What would be your best guess as to the posssible location of the loose connection?
You're going to need a meter and a lot of patience. You gotta look for voltage drops, resistance increases when these things happen.
