What do you think of this kit for my 2003 cavalier. I have been looking for different headlights and John's are way too expensive for me. I do not want to spend over 200 on new headlights but want HID's. Which temp should I get 6000k or 8000k? I want something a little blue, but would I get pulled over here in Pennsylvania for having 8000k? Either way, are the headlights good and the HID kit for a starter? Would I need projector bulbs to go over them or will that black thing in the headlight do anything? If I would need projector coverings, which if they aren't too expensive I would like to have anyways, where would I get them and is that all I would need? Any info/help you guys can give me would be great. I really like John's but 400+ dollars for headlights is not really in my budget...

The best way is to have projectors retrofitted but you can get away with aiming them down. Definitely go with 6000k as they're blue but visibility is still ok
there are several options for you. i know not everyone has the $$ to cough up, but there are some issues with the item in the link.
the headlights arent designed for hid. they are the same as your stocker, but with a clear turn. second, the hid kit included is low beam only, and third it does not include a relay harness. hit me up, i can get you a high qualitykit and new headlights if you like. but those are going to cause you problems. i also recomend staying in the 6000k range. but thats really up to the end user. but seriosly, i have lots more options than whats in the gp. especially if you want to do some work on your own
no-projector HIDs are for the gays

And people who want a brick through their windshield for blinding me on the highway.

Ohoho my highbeams are non-projector, that's a whole different story. But I make sure to flash em off when I pass.
