Just picked up a set of 4x6s,
I noticed on mine that the cone of the top smaller speaker is dented it. I can push the dent around with my finger popping it out so its round again but then it pops back in by itself. Would you audio guys consider this defective from the factory and will this cause a sound quality issue?

Suck it out using a straw.
i would say it is a defect. see if you can exchange them, had those speakers up front for a while, loved them, but when i decided to amp them, they couldn't take the power.
car audio noob since 1984.
i have the kapa ones and they sound grate
It won't pop out, I'm going to see if I can exchange them. Going with these because they are pretty much the only good solution for my doors w/ out having to do some custom pods or grills. Thanks everyone.

Baffles are easy. Do some 6.5s.
These are going in the Porsche so I'm keeping it stock.
