I got a sony Xplode deck from my friend because my cd player was worn out, but when he pulled the plug to unhook the deck he knocked out the fuse and now the car that the fuse was in is sold. what size fuse do i use im afraid to go too high and melt something, is there anyway to figure it out?
stock radio fuse size should suffice. i think its a 15a. but im not sure. look in your fuse box and look for radio.

Look up the deck online and find an owners manual. 10 or 15 amp does sound right though.
