You might have better luck asking on an Audio forum like Steve Meade Designs. No one on here that Im aware of has a TL. All of us get metered at competitions like dBDrag usually.

Weird. I had to drive an hour to go to my last one . Hahaha. Ive even easked for someone with a TL in my regional forum and got nothing.
TL is hard to come by I guess.
ya idk what it is. i would think somebody in philly would have one. i have a shop who had an rta, but something went down and they no longer have it. but i do have carlisle performance and style show, but they dont always have and db drags or anything

so ive been told im definitley for sure at 145, and if its done right, i could hit 150. thats why i wanna get metered. cuz ive been thru this whole concept, of experience, and cars and whatever, and having a idea. that y im lookin for an actual tl, cuz this @!#$ sucks, not knowing. lol

wel if oyu not hitting a 145 then you need to re-evaluate your box. do you have vids? possibly try to compare flex and see.

Flex does not always equal SPL you @!#$tard.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
guessing is worthless and you can't even come close to a guess without hearing it and feeling the pressure and even then your only going to be close if you have allot to compare it too. hell there could be a hole in the guys box causing him to lose tons of sound or a million other things taht will alter the sound and pressure.
op call your local shops and see who has a meter.

My car flexes very little unless im hitting below 40 hz. All if my SPL runs are above 40 hz.
What is this Autotek amp? Ive never heard of them.

YES I KNOW! but if we have the same car and say he hasnt done any deadening like me. then we could compare the flex and see if its close or more or less, then we can get a better estimate. but your right we cant just gues the excact number, but we can try to give him a range based off of what we know. its called an educated guess. not always right, but most of the time its going to be very close.

No thats not educated. You have different subs. Probably different placement. Different amounts of power and different T/S parameters. As well as different song frequencies.
Thats like trying to guess a cars horsepower by seeing how much the engine moves when you rev it.

i have next to no deadening. obviously the spl wouldnt be shown, but i know what u mean by flex and whatever. ill get a vid, today probably, cuz i need to anyway. the @!#$ty thing, is theres only 1 REAL shop around here. and im personally known and do alot of business there, so i know they wouldnt bull@!#$, but they dont have one. im not sure why, but they dont. im gonna keep lookin around tho for sure. ill get some vid and pics today.
btw, autotek is made by maxxonics. same company that makes hifonics, crunch and mb quart. not the greatest amp, but does rated, and is clean and 1 ohm stable. its a monster. i love maxxonics products. i wanted to go with a us amp md-2d, a sundown, or a dc amp, but at the time, didnt have quite enough.
