The previous owner had a "security" feature added which is a royal PITA for me.
In order to start the car you have to turn on the left turn signal.

I've searched everywhere I cannot find where he cut/spliced wires.

Something odd thats come up that has me wondering is;
When I tested the 00-02 headlight harness for the sunfire swap when you unplug the harness on the car, the motor wont start.
Even with the turn signal on.

When I plugged in the 00-02 it still didn't start.
I haven't pulled the harness yet havent had time to strip it out yet.
But I was wondering could he of used the headlight harness as the source of the left turnsignal giving power to the ignition?

In this situation, you are going to have to trace wires. There's a few possibilities that could have happened with that setup. Start following wires.




Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

Most of those are done under/ in the dash...I'd start in the car then work my way out...warmer that way
