I have a 2005 sunfire and am trying to put in a remote start.

I would like to bypass it with out paying a hundred for the module.

i've found this graph but i dont undstand

is the resistor i am sappost to be putting in the one that is shown in green or do i put it were the cut is made?

Also are any of the relays shown already in the car or is that all stuff i would have to set up my self?

I would like to do things right the first time so any info on it would be great

Thanks

Most car audio shops sell directed bypasses. I work for visions and I think I can get them for 29 or so, but call around locally and I'm sure you'll be able to get somewhere around there.

If they give you a high price just say something like "Oh I was talking to another salesman and he said he'd do it for 35." or that kind of dance.
