so i had know idea were to post this but anyway.. i got a set of HIDs only low beam n wen we turned the lights of so only the driving lights were on something in the dash mad i little noise maybe a fuse or something and now the ''service light'' is on.. does anyone know wat this could be?
did you disable the DRL? if i'm not mistaken the 2000+ cavaliers only use one headlight bulb. if this is the case, then the system is telling you your high beams are out (missing, in your case.)

You have to disable the DRLs for the HID kit. My car also made that noise your talking about before I disabled them

its not a big deal it flicks a few times and then it just stays lit. ive had for two years now no issues. u can also solve this by turning the lights on before u take outta park(auto) drop the ebrake (stick). only then is when u should hear that drl try. but just turn the lights on it wount do it then. mine dont.
how do you disable the DRL? and yeah i know that if you turn the lights on before you take it out of park it doesnt beep or anything.
There is a sticky on this, with instructions for each gen. That's what I used to disable mine, took 5 minutes.
