Alright so I recently got back into the car audio game after all my stuff was stolen a while back.

I went with a Pioneer head unit, model DEH-2100IB. And went with a Power Acoustik 4 channel amp, model STAX1200/4.

I have the first 2 channels going to my front speakers and channels 3 and 4 are going to my rears.

Now the problem im having is that only my front speakers are putting out sound. I think its because I only have 1 set of rcas going to the amp and I think I have to run 2 pairs, but my head unit only has one set of outputs. Im lost and have no idea on what to do. If you dont understand what im trying to say please let me know and ill try to explain more clearly, thanks.

uh yeah... you definitely need all 4 channels to have signal for them all to work lol. You could do a splitter, or do a Line Output Converter to the rear channels. Those would be the most reasonable options to get the rears working. Why did you buy a deck with one set of pre-outs to "get back into the car audio game"?!? lol

Lol wasnt aware the deck only had one set out pre-outs. Well this sucks lol.

If you use a splitter you are doing just that, splitting the signal. Your gains will have more voltage to compensate for because the input voltage is being shared. ALSO, you get no front/rear fade at all. All speakers running off the one signal from the deck.

A line output converter(which you can search for and find cheap everywhere), splices into the factory rear speaker wires and gives you some RCA outputs to basically just run a short RCA cable to your amp.
