98 chevy cavalier z24....Ok so changed the bulbs on the reverse lights,turn the car to on, put in reverse... no lights. So i pulled the bulbs out and looked inside the socket, the socket alot of gunk in it...cleaned the got out best way possible and reinstalled...still no lights.So i replace sockets with new ones from chevy and installed socket and bulb still no light even i checked for power in to each socket connector and was getting power while in reveser gear...so am baffled any help will be greatly appreciated

is it a 5 speed? and if its the same as my 02... u gotta take the drivers side tire off and theres a sensor behind the wheel... and its for ur reverse lights
