I can get some 4/0 welding cable for real cheep. Buying it off an old guy from my church who has a whole bunch. He is a welder, milright, mechinist and carpenter by trade. retired long ago... but anyways. $2/foot. The cheepest i can get 1/0 here in canada is $3.50/foot.
my question: is that just too big to work with? Just wondering it it will be to awkward and will have a hard time getting ring terminals for it. And could i get this to fit into my amp that only accepts up to 1/0? let me know please? As soon as I get my cable im going to start my build and all my interior changes.
does weldingsupply.com ship to you?

Not sure, but with duty fees and the time waiting for it to arrive its probably jsut easier to pay $1 more per foot here. so is the 4/0 too big for BIG 3?
Functionally, no. Nothing wrong with too big! But finding terminals that fit the connections you will be making, and running it through the car will prove to be a bitch. Its thick @!#$ man
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
Liquor is not a drug John, liquor is not a drug.

and yes, it is huge. The guy gave me a sample. its ridiculous! 5 inches weighs as much as a role of pennies. same thickness too. haha

yeah my 2/0 is about the same, 4/0 is a bit smaller like a dime maybe a tad smaller.
