hey gutys i have been on here on and off for a long time. i just recently started re-building my 97 vert and in order for me to get it re- registered i have to get it inspected first i just re-wired all my lights for my 1 piece blk housed halo projectors and my high beams worked fine when i parked it back in febuary. now my pass highbeam dosent seem to wanna work i went and bought a brand new bulb but to no avail. i have an idea it might just be the connector anyone else run into this issue as well? i dont wanna go grab a new connector for it not to work. thanks guys/gals.

[quote="Jo MX"]Check the ground under the battery tray for corrosion or being loose. Corrosion especially if you had a leaky battery before.
the headlights should have 12v all the time with the key on, both high and low beam, the ground is what is switched through the switch inside. The ground comes from under the battery.

ok guys badnews. i replaced the bulb & spliced in a new connector. highbeam still wont kick on the passanger side, im getting irritated i brought out my test light and im getting no reading whatsoever from the highbeam wires on that side when thier on. i tried unbolting the ground on the batt tray and ended up snapping the bolt off the head in one turn. so after i had to sand and re-ground it on the core support. it seems to get a better ground my lights are brighter than they used to be but still no pass high beam. whats your take on this? im up for anything if i cant find out what the matter is im gonna try splicing into the driver side and run brand new wires over to the passanger side would this work or would it be a bad idea?

If you need to you just add a relay that is triggered by the drivers highbeam and power the pass side with that relay.
