maximizing trunk space in convertible (non j-body)

ok so i seem to remember there were some audio guru on here 7 years ago when i had my j-bodies

I need help now hehe, I have a 1996 chrysler sebring convertible my whole audio system is installed beside one simple part, the subwoofer box.

I want to make it look factory like and keep most of my trunk space because i need to carry the top boot and 2 golf bags almost daily in the summer

the sub i will be using is one i received as a bday gift a while ago and never really used, a rockford fosgate punch(2) 12 inches sub

gotta keep the spare tire for insurance purpose (and safety reason)

gonna get a picture of the trunk after the car gets out the shop for my whole front end refurbishing

thats likely to take a really thought out plan to be able to keep the spare, fit two golf bags all ina vert. id say your gonna have to go fiberglass in a corner with the smallest size box you can. might be worth looking into a diffrent sub to possible get one suited for super small spaces.

If you go to the rocksford website you can get the exact recomended specs for your subwoofer box there. Just look at the recomended enclosure volume (you'll have to account for sub displacement, remember to add that when figuring out measurements) and then figure out if you can make that fit in your trunk. If not, you'll just have to do what sndsgood said and buy a subwoofer designed for tight spaces.
