Just thought of showing you guys my car lighting accessories and tell me what you think. Disregard the unpainted bumpers, etc. My headlights look very HID like for such a fraction of the cost and less brightness. I am very happy with them.
to the guy that was helping me with my air/fuel gauge. it is the one on the very bottom. notice how fast it goes to the right? that is what makes me think something is wrong, plus it clicks when it goes to the right. something is wrong somewhere.
ah man i figured it out. i probably knew your advice was right but i just saw this video on youtube so i guess my gauges are working fine. here it is:
Your car has to be running for your O2 sensor to see any fuel... it will always go full lean with the car off.
And that vid is a wideband, you do not have a wideband, so it won't work like that.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
well several people told me it is working right so i will just take their advice. did you see my video? what do you think of the rice awesomeness?
they are the only WHITE bulbs i could find. silverstars are yellower than stock, and cheap ebay bulbs are either all blue with no output. this is the only white bulb i could find and it works for me. and yes i know my body work needs so much work done to it i am so sick of it being this way.
yea i agree with cavie freak. buy HIDs they are worth the money and they probably cost what you spent on all those neons
give my neons a break. i got a good deal on them along with my gauges.
i would just sell the neons to some guy who drives an ricer and then buy HIDs

1. Your headlights DO NOT look very HID like. If you seriously believe they do, then you have obviously never seen an actual HID. They look like high wattage halogen bulbs, which is exactly what they are, which do no have anywhere near the light output as HIDs, or really, as much as your stock head lights...to dumb that down for you, your visibility at night time is now worse than with stock bulbs. Don't believe me? Go drive at night when it's raining and see how well you can see. Guarantee you that your stocks are better (this is coming from someone who used to use the same kind of bulbs that you are now).
What kelvin are those lights out of curiosity?
2. Air/Fuel gauges are nothing more than a $50 light show when hooked to a narrow band o2 sensor (which is what you have). They serve no purpose if you aren't running wideband. It's like putting a boost gauge in car that isn't boosted.
