so after a while of searching, I have not found an answer that works for me. I am trying to add an amp and a sub to my factory pioneer system w/ sub. I am keeping the stock head unit though. Can I add an LOC to the back speaker wires and have it work just fine, or do I need to do something else because of the factory amp. If you dont know the answer, can you kindly point me to a link somehwere on the internet that tells me how to do it. and if anyone asks I have a 06 cobalt ss. yes I have an account at cobaltss.net, but I dont remember my user name and I dont have access to my email account that I registered under. so tahts why im coming here if anyone asks. Thanks in advance
Good seeing you around again man. I am no expert on that particular stereo, but if you want to keep the factory stuff, and run a simple sub amp, I THINK you are safe with a traditional LOC.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

You'll want to hook up the LOC before the amplifier.
