stock antenna to xm antenna?

does anyone know if its possible to run the wires or whatever from the radio antenna to the xm antenna? i thought i would give it a shot and delete the radio antenna. has this been done before? if so how well did it work?

Do you have an XM tuner (that would work), or are you just wanting to swap the plugs? (That won't work).

its a totaly different antenna, they are not interchangeable, you can put a sat radio ant. in the spot werethe fm ant goes, but i dont think that will be looking to hot.

Not to threadjack, but I have an XM receiver with car kit on the classified. Really cheap, I'll ship anywhere in the lower 48.

This is interesting, Im paying attention...

Yeah, probably not classy at all... just had this thing sitting around here for too long.
