Ok so ive this happen twice now.
I willll be idlein at a stop light and my hids will flicker then like switch on and off one at time and my subs will sound like they have really bad feed back comin to them. the cluster also dims. but as soon as i rev it up a little and keep on throttle its fine but if i let off while idlein itll start back up. anyone have any ideas?

You're clipping and drawing more power than the alternator can put out at an idle.

ok, would it be my alternator just diein? cuz i noticed it today durin the day without hids and stuff. cuz i do not see my sytem bein capiable of pullin that much strain its just 2 12s duals and a 840w powerakoustic amp

take a multimeter and measure the voltage at the battery while the car is idling. It should be about 14.4V or so if the alt is good.

checked it today and it was running at 13.7-13.9 so not sure if a half volt missin is considerably bad?

Check it with your HIDS and your system bumpin. I bet it's dropping low 12's.

well i only had it up about 1/2 way (was in drive way didnt feel like leaveing) with hids and system and it was goin 12.9-13.3

Yea at 3/4 it's 12.3-12.5 so alt diein or can't keep up? Shoul I swap bids? Any advice?

Check your gains, and like Brad said, Big 3.
