Ok i decided to buy a GM-3400T Pioneer amp and a pair of TS-G1643R Pioneer speakers, I also have a complete wiring kit and speaker wire. Im wondering if i can just run 2 power wires from the battery and so on while running 2 amps. I dont have a distribution block. If not what would be the best way to do sooo. Thanks much

I have two runs of four gauge in my car. One for the subs and one for the 4 chan. I was in the same situation as you so when I added the four channel I just did another run of 4.
I would definitely use a distribution block so that you can have each run of wire (for your two amps) fused coming off of the battery. Distribution blocks are not that expensive and it is definitely worth the extra cost to do it the right way, unless you really want to risk damaging your amps if a power surge goes to them.

He has a full wiring kit which has a fuse in it. Besides the unnecessary run of wire and the fact that that seems like more of a pain in the ass than just using a distribution block, I dont see an issue doing two runs.
And fuses arent just necessarily to save your amps. They keep your car from burning down!
Right at first he didnt say he had a second wiring kit which is why I recommended the distribution block. There isnt any problem with doing two runs at all, as long as both of the runs are fused thats all that really matters. Two separate inline fuse holders are essentially the same thing as a distribution block.

Thanks for the fast replys. I will hook it up and stop back soon to tell you guys what its like

Some distro blocks are fused. Mine is. I guess you could look at it his way.
Right my distro block has one power in and two power outs with a separate fuse for each side. Honestly its all just perspective and all that matters is that for your cars and amps sake is that you are properly fused coming off of the battery.

When I ran into this issue, I just put out a few more bucks for a cap and used it at the distro block. (before I knew that caps are only mildly effective).
