I was wondering if anyone has a shop manual copy of the wiring harness for the dash cluster. I found one for a 98 cavalier on here but I need the 2000 one. Thanks alot! Also what color is the vss wire inside the car?
what are you trying to do? i have the gm manual
Whats up people?
You need a pin-out for the cluster plug? I have that:
Pin - Wire Color - Circuit No. - Function
A - BLK - 150 - Ground
B- GRY - 8 - Instrument Panel Lamp Feed
C - DK BLU - 15 - Turn Signal Lamp Feed-Right
D - BRN/WHT - 419 - Check Engine Indicator Lamp Input
E - GRY - 728 - Security Indicator Lamp Input
F - LT BLU - 14 - Turn Signal Lamp Feed-Left
G - ORN - 1440 - Fused Output, Battery
H - BLK/WHT - 451 - Ground
J - PNK - 39 - Fused Output, Ignition 1
K - PPL - 1807 - Serial Data Signal, Class 2
L - PPL - 1807 - Serial Data Signal, Class 2
M - -- - -- - Not Used
For the VSS signal.. if you're looking for the 4000 pulses per mile one... it's usually a dark green w/ white stripe on a GM car.. circuit number 817 on a 2000 J-body, and goes from the PCM to the cruise control module (in the engine bay) through connector C100 (the big honkin' one by the firewall) on pin J7. It won't be found in the car radio harness like on a 95-99 J-car.
Thanks so much!!! Any idea on the tach signal wire and temp, gas signal wires?
