i want to build a box for a 15 inch sub. Now, the sub is 15 inches from one edge to the other, but i know i cant just cut a 15 inch hole in the box because i wont be able to screw it down. i guess what im asking is what is the mounting diameter? im not sure how to explain it hopefully somebody will understand. its a refrence series mb quart.
Ø14"-14.125" for the 15" subs ive played with, good way to find out though is to take a tape measure and measure from the outter diameter your talking about to the basket then times that by 2 and minus it from your outside diameter, that will give you cutout diameter.
