I just noticed this as it started getting colder. When I turn the car on i hear music for 1 second then it cuts off. At this point all the buttons don't respond,display shows the time and it will eject a CD. Then randomly, ussally afte the car is fully warmed up it starts working. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
Yeah my radio has been doing something very similar to that, it's so frustrating! But what mine does is when I turn the key it works fine, but when I start the engine it shuts off after a couple seconds. When I warm up the car, turn it off, then turn it back on again, it works fine.

You have a crappy headunit that doesn't handle cold well. It could be something else, but I've seen this happen with a few low-end headunits.
