i have an '02 cavalier, i got KO69-6959 Konaki 6 x 9 Inch 5-Way 1000 Watts Car Speakers like 4 months ago, they worked great for about a month, and then the left one got pretty bad, all i could really hear was static with a little bit of music.
so anyway, my dad soldered the wires to the speaker, which seemed to fix it.
then 2 weeks later, the right one started doing it, before my dad got around to fixing it, the left one started doing it AGAIN. now the right one doesnt even work, and the left one cuts in and out, and is mostly static.
are they just @!#$ty speakers or do i have a wiring problem somewhere in the car? the front ones work fine, and theyre 4x6 Pyle speakers.
anyone else have these konaki speakers? should i get different speakers or? i was thinking about hooking them up to my amp, anyone know how i would do that?

I would check your connections again. That sounds like the problem to me. What kind of amp is it?
