my car wont start!
it wouldnt for the longest time so i changed the starter and got my battery checked... it had 5.3 volts hehe
well i put a new one in it and all it powers is interior lights,head/brake lights, and nothing else!!!
wth could it be?? checked all fuses and shizz its all good.
someone please help i miss my car!!!

Are you getting a security light?
It says security on the dash. Sometimes when your car sits for a long time with power itll reset the security system so you cant start the car.
i dont think i saw it. what happens if it is on?? way to reset it?

is it turning over? is the ignition clicking? ur getting power so ya might as well rule that out. are you getting fuel? are you getting spark?
if u turn the key to the "on" position (not trying to start the car just turning the key till your dash lights up) can u hear the fuel pump prime?

No there is absolutly nothing when I tryb to crank it. Basically the only thing that my car will do right now when I put the key in and turn it is the dome light come on. And also I am able to turn my headlights on.
All fuses/relays are good.
For a while when I tried to crank it, it was like power was getting to the starter but it wouldn't do anything.
(Starter is good) so I left it for a couple days and didn't touch my car. Then I tried it again and it wouldn't even make the clicking noise from the starter.

Did you check your battery again? You may have a parasitic draw killing your battery.
Listen for the fuel pump, could be a bad pump or relay.
Is the radio coming on?

yea the battery that i just tried was out of another vehicle and then put back in and works perfect.
no, no radio.
when i mean nothing works but the dome lights and headlights. THATS IT!!!

well i looked at my car some more and there is no power getting to my BCM/CLU fuse.
any ides? think its fried??

If there is no power getting to it there may be a cut wire upstream. I assume you are testing at the fuse and to ground and getting 0 volts. You could always jumper to the bcm and clu, just run a fuse inline.

Would a bcm from a sunfire work? Even if it has manuel windows and mines all power???
