While your grammar is not looking so hot.... and that amp probably isn't putting out 1200 watts at all, and the power rating on subs isn't anything to do with them sucking power from your system, it's the power they can HANDLE(which i doubt those subs can lol), AND that capacitor isn't going to help anything at all... make sure your battery is in good order, make sure your alternator is in good order, make sure your wiring is in good order. wiring is going to cause a lot more issues than you think. solid grounds, maybe a big 3 upgrade, good solid connections EVERYWHERE. and watch your gains as well. how high is the gain turned up on your amp? You could be asking wayyy too much from it, not only damaging your subs potentially, but also drawing way more amperage than your electrical system can supply. I just don't see a cheap sony xplod amp drawing so much that you're getting dimming issues...

Get rid of the cap. Back when I had one it made my lights dim worse than when I didnt have it. I could explain why but Im lazy.

Also check the amp ground.

I also had an XPlod amp at one point. Dustin you would be surprised how inefficient those amps are and how much dimming you will see with a low power Sony amp. I had less dimming with my SA amp than with my Sony amp, which was pushing 3 times the power.

Definitely. I had the same thing with a Lanzar. Hell, they probably came from the same factory.

Obviously, not putting out nearly what it claimed but because it was so !$#@ing inefficient it drew current like a mofo.

I have the Big 3 wiring done. I checked a wires they are all good. My alternater is good and so is the battery. My amp is turned half way up. I turned it down more and it still makes the lights dim. Im going to get a 190amp alternater and see if that helps along with a red top optima 75/25 battery. Thanks for all the info and help.

Large Case Alt Swap. Best decision I ever made for the money.
