Does the HVAC wiring eventually come to a plug in the harness where you can replace the wiring, or if the wiring was modified and you want to go back to stock, do you just have to un-modify it?
If that sounds retarded, Im just asking if maybe the HVAC unplugs from the interior harness other than from the back of the HVAC itself?
Well there are four plugs, three electrical one vacuum that go elsewhere in the vehicle.
The illumination one is tied into the body harness.
The Recirculation on I believe is also tied into the body harness.
The fan speed one goes to the resistor pack inside the blower and is accessed from underneath. It can be unscrewed, I think it can also be unplugged but can't remember.
One line from the vacuum plug goes to a vacuum booster up under the passenger's airbag, and the other lines goes to the position flap box thing, where I assume they can be unplugged, but you'd have to take pretty much the whole dash out.
Ok thank you. The electrical was all I was worried about. The hvac was moved to the arm rest and I'm going back to stock. The vac lines are just stuck inside longer lines and the temp cable was fabbed so it needs replaced. I was trying to find out if I could just replace the wiring instead of cutting and soldering. If I read this right then you just saved me a headache. Thanks again
